Research On The Anti-Japanese War Literary Journal "Drama Post"

The 14-year history of the War of Resistance from 1931 to 1945 is a bitter year that every Chinese son and daughter should remember in hearts.Japan opened the gates of China with heavy artillery fire,slaughtered our compatriots and trampled on our land.Therefore,after the Japanese army invaded China in 1937,a vigorous anti-Japanese national salvation movement was launched in China.Because China’s territory fell from east to west,China’s political,economic and cultural center was forced to move to Chongqing in the southwest,so many cultural celebrities came here to continue the literary and artistic rescue movement in this relatively safe environment.In order to encourage the people to participate in the War of Resistance and strengthen the antiJapanese forces,the literary and artistic circles actively responded to the call and used various art forms to publicize the anti-Japanese ideology.Among them,theater is the most publicistic art form.In 1939,Xiong Foxi founded the journal "Drama Post" in Chongqing,which lasted for three years,and in 19425.5 Monthly discontinuation."Theatrical Post" was in the three years of its release,published Xiong Foxi,Ye Zhongyin,Liu Nianqu,Liu Jingyuan,Zhang Jichun,Yan Zhewu,Dong Pingjun,Yang Cunbin,Zheng Junli,Chen Baichen,Song Zhi and many other modern Chinese theater masters and drama newcomers scripts and articles,making great contributions to China’s anti-Japanese war drama movement."Drama Post" is a precious document for the study of Chinese anti-Japanese war drama and even modern Chinese drama,and the author will study "Drama Post" from the following four aspects.The first chapter is a holistic study of the journal "Drama Posts".Based on the background of the times in which "Drama Post" was produced,this paper systematically explains the background and purpose of "Drama Post",the editorial team and creative team,the column setting and the editing ideas,and is the result of "Drama Post" The foundation is laid for in-depth research.The second chapter examines the thematic ideas and artistic expressions of the plays contained in "Drama Post".Interpret the theme ideas conveyed by the plays contained in "Drama Post" from three aspects: publicizing the idea of the War of Resistance,criticizing feudal forces,and advocating humanistic care;Explore the hidden artistic value of drama from three aspects: diverse drama characters,complex dramatic conflicts,and exquisite dramatic language.The third chapter reviews the theoretical critical articles contained in "Drama Post",and studies the four aspects covered by it: the debate on dramatic realism,the theory and practice of the reform of old dramas,the rational discussion on script creation,and the theoretical exploration of performing arts.Chapter 4 is to sort out,summarize and study the newsletter articles on theater practice activities published in "Drama Post".It glimpses the vigorous development of the local theater movement and the activities of drama groups during the Anti-Japanese War period,and explores the development of the drama movement during the AntiJapanese War period.
