Study On The Influence Of Safety Ritual Sense On Employees’ Safety Behavior

At present,employee safety behavior management is still the top priority of safety management.With the progress of society,the research and development of safety management pay more and more attention to the impact of safety culture on safety behavior.As an effective method of safety culture construction,safety ritual sense has attracted more and more attention in the era of ritual sense.And "what is safety ritual sense? How does it come? What role does it have? How does it affect the safety behavior of employees? should we invest a lot in creating safety ritual sense in safety ritual?" There are no systematic and scientific answers to the substantive problems perplexing the decision-making level of enterprises.Therefore,takes safety ritual sense as the starting point,defines the concept of safety ritual sense,expounds its generation mechanism and mechanism of action,and based on this,puts forward a theoretical model of the impact of safety ritual sense on employees’ safety behavior.In order to verify the model,taking ritual sense as the independent variable,safety psychological capital as the mediating variable,and safety behavior as the dependent variable,a questionnaire survey was carried out to explore the relationship between safety ritual sense and safety behavior.The result shows:(1)Safety ritual sense is an emotional experience that positively guides the individual’s safety behavior after participating in safety ritual and comprehending the symbolic meaning of the safety ritual.(2)The generation of safety ritual sense requires three basic conditions:“ safety ritual context,safety ritual participants and their effective interaction”,and goes through four periods of “safety ritual sense construction period-the interaction period-the integration period-the feedback period ”.(3)Safety ritual sense has five functions of motivation,organization,health care,signal,and infection.It plays a functional role in safety management and guides individuals and groups to choose safety behaviors.(4)Safety ritual sense has six characteristics of subjectivity,embodiment,process,repetition,situational and infectiousness,and it’s measurement scale includes four dimensions: uniqueness,devotion,etiquette and arousal,with a total of 10 items.(5)The two influence paths of "safety ritual sense-safety behavior" and "safety ritual sense-safety psychological capital-safety behavior" are established.safety ritual sense is significantly positively correlated with employees’ safety behavior and has a significant positive impact on safety behavior.Safety psychological capital plays a partial intermediary role in the influence of safety ritual sense on safety behavior.Therefore,safety ritual sense is of great significance and value to promote safety management.Enterprises should pay attention to the development of safety ritual activities,the shaping of safety ritual situation and the strengthening of safety ritual sense.
