| Aria "Piangero la sorte mia " is a classic soprano excerpt from the heroic opera Giulio Cesare created by Handel.It is sung by the heroine Cleopatra.As one of the arias that can best reflect the tragedy of Handel,it has high aesthetic value.Handel’s portrayal of the musical image of the heroine Cleopatra in the aria "Piangero la sorte mia" is extremely successful,and his work is endowed with high teaching and research value because of his super creative skills.This paper discusses the portrayal of Cleopatra’s musical image in the aria "I Weep for My Fate" from two aspects:At the level of first creation,composer Handel created the tragic image of Cleopatra through the structure and layout of music,the contrast of musical elements and the combination of Musical Instruments and voices.In the second level of creation,different singers through the auditory and visual presentation on the stage to create a full and vivid image of Cleopatra.Singing works of the Baroque period is extremely important for vocal music learners.By singing this work,analyzing teaching points and studying teaching values,vocal music learners can be helped to create a vivid character image on the stage. |
