Research On The Stone Carving Art Of Shiqu Tibetans In The Context Of The Tang-Tibet Ancient Roa

Shiqu County,along the Yalong River,is located at the intersection of Sichuan,Qing and Tibet.It is the place where the ancient Road of Tangbo and King Gesar experienced great battles.Its Tibetan stone carvings are of a long age,rich in content and exquisite in statues,presenting a magnificent Tibetan stone carvings.Since ancient times,Shiqu has enjoyed the reputation of "the kingdom of stone carving art",but because of the remote location,cold climate,inconvenient transportation and many other factors,the Tibetan stone carving art of Shiqu is not well known to the world.Since the archaeological investigation of Shiqu County by the Palace Museum and the Sichuan Cultural Relics Research Institute in 2005,people have gradually paid attention to this "life forbidden place" under the threshold of Tang and Tibetan culture.Up to now,systematic studies on the Tibetan stone carvings in Shiqu are relatively weak.Most of them are conducted only through historical archaeology or from the perspective of cultural relics protection,such as the Tibetan Sanskrit translation of cliff stone carvings and wove stone carvings,the research on the age of stone carvings and the content of statues,etc.A relatively complete theoretical system has not yet been formed for the research on the artistic characteristics,aesthetic connotation and functional value of the statues.Through field investigation of Tibetan stone carvings in Shiqu area of Sichuan province,consulting a large number of related books and documents,and comprehensively applying various research methods such as art history,aesthetics,religious studies,comparative art,ecology,art anthropology and folklore,this paper focuses on the study of Tibetan stone carvings in Shiqu from four aspects.The first part of the thesis,based on the background of the Tang and Tibetan ancient road,sorts out the development course of Tibetan stone carving art in Shiqu.The second part explains the diversity of themes,the integration of carving skills and the symbolic style of architectural layout of Tibetan stone carving art in Shiqu.The third part analyzes the beauty of form and connotation of Tibetan stone carvings in Shiqu.The fourth part is a summary of the function and value of Tibetan stone carving art in Shiqu.As an important carrier of Shiqu culture,Tibetan stone carving art draws from multi-culture on the basis of original carving,and its sculpture theme and artistic style give people beauty and unique visual effects.Through the study of painting,calligraphy,sculpture,architectural layout and other contents of stone carving art,the author interprets and interprets the diverse and meaningful Tibetan stone carving art of Shiqu,aiming at the inheritance and promotion of cultural heritage,the protection of cultural relics and inheritors.
