As one of the three major sculpture traditions in the world,ancient Chinese sculpture has a unique artistic appearance and important artistic position in the history of world sculpture.Sculpture in the Tang Dynasty is a treasure in the history of ancient Chinese sculpture.It is located in the center of the long river of history,connecting the Qin,Han,Wei,Jin,northern and Southern Dynasties and the Liao,Jin,Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties.The tomb stone carving of the Tang Dynasty is an important branch of the sculpture of the Tang Dynasty.It has a wide and far-reaching influence and represents the highest level of tomb sculpture in ancient China.The stone carvings of Shinto in the ancestral tombs of the Tang Dynasty in Longyao are a relatively complete group of royal tombs preserved in ancient China,and it is also the only group of royal tombs of the Tang Dynasty in Hebei Province.Its unique artistic style and precious historical value have aroused my great interest.Therefore,the main purpose of writing this paper is to study its modeling style and artistic causes.Academic circles have little research on the stone carvings of the Shinto in Longyao Tang Zuling.This paper takes the stone carvings of the Shinto in Longyao Tang Zuling as the research object,pays attention to the combination of individual and whole,and takes the category individual as the typical research object to explore the modeling layout,aesthetic meaning and formation reasons of the stone carvings of the Shinto in Longyao Tang Zuling.By summing up the modeling characteristics of Shendao stone carvings in Longyao Tang Zuling,we can clarify its modeling origin and causes,and try to explore the relationship between the modeling of Shendao stone carvings in Longyao Tang Zuling and the social environment.Carrying out this research is of great significance to supplement the overall layout of the imperial tombs of the Tang Dynasty,the configuration of Shinto and Shinto stone carvings and other mausoleum systems,characteristics and evolution process.It is of great historical reference value for understanding and understanding the sequestration system in the Tang Dynasty and history.The Shinto stone carvings in the ancestral Mausoleum of the Tang Dynasty of Longyao are well preserved and exquisite in art,It has important material reference value for learning the historical stone carving art of the Tang Dynasty and Hebei and even the history of ancient Chinese sculpture.In addition,the production method and technology of stone carvings of Shinto in the ancestral Mausoleum of the Tang Dynasty in Longyao are the physical carrier for studying the development of science and technology in the Tang Dynasty,it plays a very important and positive role in revealing China’s ancient excellent history and culture and enhancing national pride.The paper is divided into five parts: The first chapter expounds the historical changes of Longyao Tang Zuling and the types and sizes of Shinto stone carvings;The second chapter is an important chapter of this paper.The artistic features of the single shape and overall layout of Shinto stone carvings are analyzed in detail from four aspects,the combination of motion and static,the combination of square and circle,the alternation of virtual and real,and the arrangement and layout;The third chapter explores the causes of the shape characteristics of the Shinto stone carvings in the tombs of Longyao and Tang Dynasties from four aspects: the selection of stones,the causes of carving skills,the relationship between details and the whole,and the formation of carving craftsmen and styles;The fourth chapter mainly discusses the relationship between the plastic art of Shinto stone carvings in Longyao Tang Zuling and social factors from four aspects: politics,economy,culture and funeral customs;The fifth chapter,centered on the Shinto stone carvings in the tombs of Tang Zuling in Longyao,explores the modeling origin of the Shinto stone beast and the Shinto looking column and the modeling performance of the Shinto stone carvings in a specific historical time,as well as the influence of the Shinto stone carvings in the tombs of Tang Zuling in Longyao on the Shinto stone carvings in later generations.
