Chinese contemporary female art focuses more on expressing self-feelings from a delicate and sensitive perspective,paying attention to the observation of individual circumstances and seeking a unique way of expression of female consciousness.This makes us have to discuss and interpret the rich cultural genes and unique aesthetic meaning in Chinese contemporary female art,thus refreshing the habitual narration of Chinese art history.The topic choice of this paper is to study the development of Chinese contemporary female art.On the one hand,we need to pay attention to the direct influence of western feminist art and feminist theory on Chinese contemporary female art,on the other hand,we can not ignore the historical tradition,social system and other basic national conditions also play a role in the germination and development of feminism.The development of Chinese contemporary female art has lasted for several decades,from the beginning,the direct misappropriation and reference of western feminist artistic concepts to the exploration of the construction of female discourse,forming a new direction of self-development of local female art.The study of Chinese contemporary female art should focus on how to transcend gender differences,not only pay attention to the bright and soft side of women’s expression,but also know their wild,bold and dynamic side.
