The team shared mental model,as a consensus held by members about the key elements of a team, has been proven in numerous studies to reduce or avoid team conflict, promote collaboration among team members, and guide team members to align with team goals and objectives, thus having a positive effect on team performance. This study aims to focus on the measurement of the components of team shared mental models, the relationship with team performance, and how to conduct interventions to enhance them, and is divided into three studies.Study 1 utilized the semi-structured interview method, questionnaire method and content analysis method for scale development.In-depth interview data from 10 corporate employees and 32 open-ended questionnaires were used to obtain 119 valid instances, and questionnaires were distributed after forming the initial question items, and 260 valid samples were recovered. The results of exploratory factor analysis and validation of the scale showed that(1)the Team Shared Mental Model Scale consisted of three dimensions: task cognition, team cognition and interaction cognition, with 20 measurement items;(2)the scale passed the reliability test and met the psychometric requirements.Study 2 used the questionnaire method to explore the relationship between team shared mental model and team performance, and to examine the mediating role of psychological security and collective efficacy in it.254 valid questionnaires were collected. The results showed that:(1)team shared mental model, psychological security, and collective efficacy were significantly and positively related to team performance;(2)all three dimensions of the team shared mindfulness model and significantly and positively predicted team performance;(3)psychological security and collective efficacy played a chain mediating role in the relationship between team shared mindfulness and team performance.Study 3 designed the enhancement program from the components of team shared mindfulness, including three key aspects of typical tasks, team roles, and empathy maps. The intervention was administered to a small sample of two teams using a preand post-test design. The results showed that the intervention program significantly improved the level of team task cognition and interaction cognition, and thus the level of psychological security and collective efficacy, but failed to significantly improve the level of team cognition and team performance. The reasons for this analysis included the lack of intervention activities for the team as a whole and the high intervention density, based on which the program was improved. In summary, this study answers the three key questions of "how it is formed","how it works",and "how it is enhanced",enriches the current research on the exploration and measurement of the structure of team shared mental model, and provides new empirical evidence on the relationship between team shared mindfulness and team performance.
