Image Collage-The Inspiration Of Mickalene Thomas’ Art Works To My Creation

This study aims to explore in-depth the formal and conceptual characteristics of Mickalene Thomas’ collage artworks,and compare them with modernist,postmodernist,and contemporary collage works,with a focus on the differences in ideas and forms.The study employs methods of image analysis and literature research to provide a detailed interpretation and analysis of Mickalene Thomas’ collage artworks.The research finds that Mickalene Thomas’ collage artworks demonstrate certain differences in display modes and conceptual contents compared to contemporary collage works,while reflecting different views and thoughts on artistic tradition and contemporary society.These findings provide new perspectives and ideas for understanding the evolution of collage art and the development of contemporary art.
