| As a language unit with relatively fixed structure and integrated storage,chunks can help language learners expand memory capacity and improve memory efficiency,and play an important and positive role in the process of language acquisition.Learners of Chinese as a foreign language often face the embarrassment of mastering a large number of vocabulary and grammar rules but being unable to express themselves idiomatic and fluent,which is closely related to the input and output ability of chunks.On the premise of not greatly increasing teaching pressure and learning tasks,chunks can help learners expand their vocabulary,improve memory efficiency,enhance expression ability,and to some extent meet their communicative needs,while improving teaching effectiveness and efficiency.On the basis of the existing research results,this study sorts out the definition and classification of Chinese chunks,and clarifies the criteria for judging Chinese chunks.Under the guidance of the judgment criteria,combined with the definition and classification of Chinese chunks,five syllabuses were used as corpus sources to clarify specific operational methods and steps,screen and integrate eligible chunks,and select and reject some chunks based on frequency standards.Finally,the“The Advanced Stage Chunk Table of Chinese as a Foreign Language”containing 472 chunks was determined.This table can provide some references for the teaching and learning of advanced Chinese as a foreign language,provide some support for the compilation of teaching materials for advanced Chinese as a foreign language,and also have some reference value for the formulation of the syllabus of chunks and the research and development of relevant tests in the future.Based on this table,this study investigated and analyzed the matching degree of language chunks in three types of comprehensive teaching materials for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the advanced stage.It was found that the matching degree between the language chunks in the teaching materials and those in the table was relatively low,and the recurrence rate of language chunks was not ideal.This to some extent indicates that the content of the comprehensive teaching material for the advanced stage of Chinese as a foreign language is not well matched with the requirements of the syllabus,and there is a lack of awareness of language chunks during the writing process.Finally,this study takes a frame format chunk as an example to design the relevant chunk teaching design,which provides reference for the advanced stage of chunk teaching. |
