There are two serious narrative ethical problems in the current video creation of marginalized groups: First, the trap of creators’ authoritarianism forces marginalized groups to be in the lower status of "being gazed at";second, the social structure is avoided, and the "artistic" aesthetic deliberately ignores or The second is to avoid the social structure and deliberately ignore or amplify the suffering of the marginalized groups with "artistic" aesthetics. This paper takes the film "Hikikomori" as a case study of artistic practice, highlights the advantages of the subject matter and the theoretical self-consciousness of the creative process, and explores the feasibility of narrative ethics in guiding the creation of images of marginalized groups. It attempts to answer the question "In presenting the marginalized groups, how should the video creators achieve truthfulness and objectivity without arousing the audience’s negative emotions such as curiosity and antipathy, and be able to stimulate the positive concern and empathy of the society through the video?" This question was answered.Combining the analysis of previous video works that focus on the survival experiences of "marginalized" people,it is proposed that the creators should first grasp the limits of "reality" in the narrative of video realism,i.e.,objectively describe the plight and spiritual pursuit of marginalized groups in the form of artistic expression, and avoid "spectacle".They should avoid the construction of "spectacle" stories. In terms of ethical consciousness,we pay attention to the ethical and moral issues of the purpose of the narrative, and portray the life experiences of the "marginalized" from the perspective of equality and respect. Finally,in the light of the effectiveness of the film "Hobo in the House",it is argued that narrative ethics is the key to the creation of images of marginalized groups, which helps the narrator to objectively shape the image of "marginalized people" and construct an equal social status between the narrator, the narrative subject and the recipient.
