This thesis is a series of studies on the relationship between the right of the artist and the audience in interactive art,aiming to analyze its specific mechanisms and subsequent logic.It gives its own insights to clarify the boundaries of Interactive Art and summarizes artworks,also discusses the example of Interactive Video Installation,a subdivision of Interactive Art.Art and technology have always been the focus of attention.Technologies such as Biometrics and AI(Artificial intelligence)continue to mature and the operation threshold of programming software is gradually lowered.New Media Art comes into being according to the trend,among which Interactive Art is a new art form reflecting "interaction".With the development of technology and media,the underlying structure constantly changes and dislocations,and the boundaries between the identities of artists and viewers are becoming increasingly blurred.This thesis uses the comparative analysis of a large number of art cases and practical creation experiences as a research method to explore the fundamental issue of the relationship between the right of artists and audiences behind Interactive Art and to return to the essence of interactive art.This thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which focuses on the research outline and the overview of the current situation at home and abroad.Chapter 2 is the basic theory section,which compares the boundary of Interactive Art and the lineage,characteristics,and development of Interactive Video Installation,and clarifies its basic composition.In addition to citing interdisciplinary theories such as Cybernetics,Communication Studies,Phenomenology,Reception Aesthetics,and Esthetique relationnelle to provide strong theoretical support for the research,the core argument is the mechanism of interaction,which is further discussed in Chapters 3 and 4,there are also typical cases to analyze the subject-object right relationship between artist and audience,as well as the multifaceted effects brought by technology and media,taking the current situation of artists’ transfer right to viewers and machines as a clue.Meanwhile,Chapter 4 captures the complex relationship between the artist,audience,technology & media,and creatures to sum up the Interactive Video Installation artworks,and summarizes the reasons,meanings and challenges of the artist’s concession of the right to the audience.Chapter 5 elaborates on the interaction mechanism between the artist and the audience of "Electronic Poem in the Corner" in the post-epidemic era in conjunction with the theoretical knowledge above,constructing the long poem in the process of physical and psychological interaction in which the audience inputting the vlog and replacing the artist’s vlog,bringing them closer to each other and gaining humanistic care,planning the design scheme of the artwork from four aspects: visual effect,image narrative,interaction development,and installation design.Chapter 6 concludes and outlooks,which is a refinement and reflection of the whole text.It is hoped that this thesis can provide more diversified ideas for the creation in the field of Interactive Art which is constantly developing and changing and can also conclude new creation logic in the complicated cases of Interactive Art.
