| In the new-democratic revolution led by the Communist Party of China,the victory of the Liberation War marked the final victory of the new-democratic revolution.According to the situation at the time,a new set of united front propaganda strategies was formulated,and significant results were achieved.It not only greatly consolidated and developed the people’s democratic united front led by the Communist Party of China but also promoted the unity of the people from various social strata in China at that time,and promoted the development of the Chinese revolution and the eventual establishment of new China.Studying the history of the Communist Party of China’s united front propaganda during this period can not only deepen our understanding of the history of the Communist Party of China’s united front work and Chinese revolutionary history but also help us consolidate and develop the patriotic united front and enhance the Communist Party of China’s understanding of the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under new historical conditions.This article focuses on the Hong Kong edition of the magazine "Masses" as the research object and explores its role in carrying out united front propaganda activities during the Chinese Civil War period in Hong Kong.The aim is to investigate the propaganda strategies used by progressive newspapers in Hong Kong,represented by the Hong Kong edition of "Masses," to break through the Kuomintang’s "cultural blockade" in a complex political and public opinion environment,and to better construct the legitimacy of the Chinese Communist Party’s leadership,This paper discusses how to carry out targeted publicity for different groups in the Hong Kong edition of the magazine "Masses".The study of the propaganda strategies of the Hong Kong edition of "Masses" is divided into two aspects.The first part is divided into three stages: "war defense stage," "strategic counteroffensive stage," and "strategic decisive battle stage," based on the progress of the war.Meanwhile,the author categorizes different types of united front propaganda methods based on the different target readers,which are divided into three groups: "overseas Chinese," "progressive forces," and "readers from newly liberated areas."Secondly,this article provides a comprehensive summary and evaluation of the united front propaganda activities carried out by the Hong Kong edition of "Masses" during the Chinese Civil War period in Hong Kong.Through the study of "Masses," it is found that its propaganda activities in Hong Kong not only contributed to the rise of national consciousness and the expansion of the public opinion united front but also helped to promote nationalism and unity in the resistance against the war.Finally,by exploring the related ideas,practical measures,and achievements of the Communist Party’s united front work during the Chinese Civil War period,this article summarizes the beneficial experiences of the Communist Party’s united front work in the People’s Democratic United Front during the liberation war period and analyzes its inspiration for the united front work in the current era of new media.In the united front work,in the face of new situations and challenges,the united front work can not remain unchanged,we should constantly adjust our own strategies with the development of the situation.This requires United front workers to keep up with the situation,keep pace with The Times,constantly update their ideas and thoughts,in order to better carry out united front work.As for the opportunities and challenges of the united front work in the new media era,the author believes that in the current new media era,the United front work should adhere to the fundamental principle of the leadership of the Communist Party of China.At the same time,we should adhere to the people-centered propaganda orientation.It is also important to note that the United front propaganda work in the new era should adhere to changes in time and response to the situation. |
