| Louis Moreau Gottschalk(May 8,1829--December 18,1869)was the first French-American pianist and composer to achieve international fame in the mid-19th century.He first made a name for himself in the United States with his extraordinary playing skills,and was the first pianist in music history to write piano compositions using Latin American folk melodies and Creole folk dance rhythms.Among them,the piano piece Memories of Andalusia,on the basis of retaining the characteristics of local folk dances,uses diversified creative techniques,integrates diversified harmonic colors and gorgeous playing techniques to realize the ingenious integration of western creative techniques and folk music materials,and places the author’s beautiful feelings of longing for an ideal life in the work.And through folk music material and dance rhythm,the author’s emotions are presented to the audience.Therefore,this paper chooses Memories of Andalusia as the object of analysis and combines relevant research materials and literature at home and abroad.Firstly,it takes the introduction of the composer as the premise and explains the creation background of the music.Secondly,from the analysis of the works,speed and strength and national style dimension,summarize the Spanish music style contained in the music;Finally,from the level of playing skills,this piece is analyzed,which is also the focus and difficulty of the full text.Based on my own daily practice,this paper explores how to accurately grasp the musical characteristics and playing style of the music and how to deeply explore the artistic charm of the music from the theoretical level,so as to provide references for the follow-up research and performance personnel. |
