| In recent years,with the development of globalization,English plays an increasingly prominent role in international exchanges and cooperation.In order to meet the needs of development,education reform is also carried out in our country.The status of English writing in English teaching is gradually rising,and the test is relatively large.However,English writing is a language output activity that mobilizes students’ ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing,which can best show students’ language application and thinking,but it is difficult for students to master.Among the factors affecting students’ English writing,emotional factors are more prominent,anxiety and self-efficacy are two important emotional factors affecting English learners.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the current situation and influencing factors of English writing anxiety,English writing anxiety and English writing self-efficacy,and explore the relationship between them to improve students’ English writing level.This research adopts the questionnaire combined with interviews,this research focus on the following three issues:(1)How are the status situation of high school students’ English writing anxiety and English writing self-efficacy?(2)What are the factors affecting senior high school students’ English writing anxiety and English writing self-efficacy?(3)Is English writing anxiety related to English writing self-efficacy? if so,what are the specific aspects of this connection?To answer these questions above,the researcher surveyed 428 students in a high school,and collected data on their foreign writing anxiety,English writing self-efficacy with the help of SPSS 22.0.The results are as follows:(1)High school students have a low English writing anxiety while have a high level of English writing self-efficacy.(2)The main factors that affect high school students’ English writing anxiety are students’ personality,interest and the influence from teachers and parents.The main factors,which influence high school students’ English writing self-efficiency are their own effort,writing strategies and teachers’ cultivation of students’ reading ability.(3)High school students’ English language writing anxiety is negatively relevant to their English writing self-efficiency.The correlation shows that the lower students’ physical anxiety,cognition anxiety and avoidance anxiety,the higher students’ writing task efficiency and writing skill efficiency.In the end,the writer gives several suggestions on present English writing teaching:firstly,make students maintain an appropriate level of English language anxiety.secondly,improve students’ self-efficiency in English writing.Lastly,create a good English writing experience for students. |
