The collision of multi-ethnic cultures is common in ethnic minority regimes.Jurchen established the Jin Dynasty, which was dominant in one side, and ruled against the Huai River in the Southern Song Dynasty. With the continuous input of Central Plains culture,Jurchen culture and Han culture collided and blended, running through the Jin Dynasty, and the folk customs and culture of Jurchen ethnic group formed in the long-term historical development also changed quietly, which had a far-reaching impact on the society of Jin Dynasty.Taking the changes of Jurchen old customs under the cultural conflict of Jin Dynasty as the research object, this paper systematically studies the changes of typical Jurchen traditional ethnic customs such as marriage, belief, hunting and worship of wine, and probes into the causes and influences of the changes of Jurchen old customs in Jin Dynasty. The full text is divided into four chapters:Chapter one,the changes of old marriage customs in Jurchen culture. This chapter mainly examines the traditional marriage customs, marriage etiquette of Jurchen and its changes in Jin Dynasty. In the early days of Jurchen society, the style of marriage was free and unrestrained, and marriage forms such as successive marriage, stealing marriage and robbing marriage became popular, and the wedding etiquette also had unique ethnic characteristics. After the establishment of the Jin Dynasty, the traditional marriage customs gradually declined, and the rulers reformed and restricted the custom of successive marriage, snatching marriage and letting go of stealing marriage.Jurchen spontaneously refused to accept the traditional marriage customs and actively imitated the Han rites and customs. This trend was an inevitable choice to conform to the social and cultural development direction of the Jin Dynasty.Chapter two,the changes of old belief customs in Jurchen culture.Under the influence of the concept of nature worship,Jurchen people believe that shamans have a tradition of worshiping the sun. After Jin entered the Central Plains, the Jurchen civilization collided with the Central Plains civilization, and the living habits and traditional customs of Jurchen changed imperceptibly under the influence of the Han culture represented by farming civilization. The status of Shamanism was gradually replaced by the emerging Buddhism and Taoism, while the traditional belief in nature worship was acculturated. The corresponding sacrificial activities absorbed the ritual civilization of the Central Plains, showing the dual interweaving characteristics of Jurchen culture and Han culture.Chapter three, the changes of the old customs of shooting, hunting and worshiping wine in Jurchen culture.Jurchen is active in northeast China, and the special natural environment makes riding, shooting, hunting and drinking become the unique customs and preferences of the ethnic group. After the establishment of the Jin Dynasty, the custom of hunting and worshipping wine changed in different tracks in the society of Jin Dynasty. On the one hand, based on the needs of maintaining rule and production development, the ethos of hunting and drinking is restricted by national policies; On the other hand, for the riding and shooting customs with important combat significance, the rulers took coercive political measures to protect and vigorously promote them, injecting new political connotations into them.Chapter four, the significance of the cultural changes of Jurchen old customs. The changes of the old folk culture of Jurchen in the Jin Dynasty are closely related to the political construction, economic development and social and cultural changes of the Jin regime, and have a far-reaching impact on the society of the Jin Dynasty. On the one hand, the decline of some "outdated" old customs is conducive to creating a good political environment, stabilizing people’s livelihood and promoting the progress of social civilization in the Jin Dynasty.Jurchen and old customs absorbed and adapted to the changing path of the Central Plains culture, narrowed the cultural differences among ethnic groups, eased the ethnic contradictions, and maintained the social order by exerting the ethical enlightenment function of custom culture; On the other hand, this changing path accompanied by the melting of Chinese culture has changed the ethnic ethos of Jurchen "martial arts",leading to the overall trend of "weakening" the development of traditional and old customs, and the weakening of folk customs. The changing process of Jurchen old customs is the process of cultural exchanges between ethnic groups, and it is also the witness of the continuous development of Chinese culture.Cultural conflicts and blending and ethnic blending are accompanied by each other, thus to a certain extent, promoting the formation and evolution of the pluralistic and integrated pattern of the Chinese nation.
