| During the Spring and Autumn Period,the Qin people absorbed the belief concept of Shang and Zhou God worship.In order to meet the needs of political rule and military expansion,they gradually developed God worship into the White Emperor,the Qing Emperor,the Yan Emperor,the Yellow Emperor,and established matching sacrificial etiquette,thus forming a God with the Qin people’s national characteristics Worship.Taking the Qin people’s God worship as the research object,this article discusses the source,establishment and development process,sacrificial etiquette,and the characteristics and significance of Qin people’s God worship.The first chapter explores the source of Qin people’s worship of God.God is in a noble position in the pre-Qin religious system.As an important religious belief in the pre-Qin period,God worship had a great impact on the political and social life at that time.God worship can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty.The Shang people’s God is the supreme god who dominates everything,and the Shang people’s God has a strong natural character.During the Western Zhou Dynasty,the Zhou people inherited the Shang people’s worship of God,combined the heaven with the emperor,and injected moral attributes into it,forming the concept of the emperor of heaven.At the same time,the Zhou people also transformed the previous idea of the Mandate of Heaven as a tool to explain regime change.During the Spring and Autumn Period,while absorbing the Zhou people’s idea of the Mandate of Heaven,the Qin people also inherited and developed the God worship of Shang and Zhou.The second chapter discusses the process of establishing the worship of God in Qin.During the Spring and Autumn Period,the Qin people absorbed the worship of Shang and Zhou gods,and gradually divided the unitary gods in the Shang and Zhou dynasties into four,namely,the White Emperor,the Qing Emperor,the Yan Emperor,the Yellow Emperor.The worship of the four emperors of the Qin people was established separately in different periods,and it took more than 200 years from Qin Xianggong to the Qin Linggong.The specific reasons for the establishment of the worship of the White Emperor,the Qing Emperor,the Yan Emperor and the Yellow Emperor of the Qin people are different.The worship of the White Emperor was established during the period of Qin Xianggong,and was closely related to the title of Qin Xianggong and the ethnic origin of the Qin people.The worship of the Qing Emperor was established during the period of Qin Xuangong,and was closely related to the origin of the Qin people and the war between Qin and Jin.The worship of the Yan Emperor and the Yellow Emperor was established during the period of Qin Lingong,mainly for the Qin people to rule the people of the conquered areas and to expand to the East.The third chapter discusses the sacrificial etiquette of God worship of the Qin people.The Qin people established a series of sacrificial rituals corresponding to God worship.The Qin people established“Zhi”(畤)and used it as a place to sacrifice to God.From the period of Qin Xianggong to Qin Xiangong,the Qin people established six“Zhi”,namely,“Xi Zhi”(西畤),“Fu Zhi”(鄜畤),“Mi Zhi”(密畤),“Shang Zhi”(上畤),“Xia Zhi”(下畤)and“Qi Zhi”(畦畤).Among them,“Xi Zhi”,“Fu Zhi”and“Qi Zhi”are used to worship the White Emperor,and“Mi Zhi”,“Shang Zhi”,“Xia Zhi”are used to worship the Qing Emperor,the Yan Emperor,the Yellow Emperor respectively.In addition to establishing a special place of worship,the Qin people also stipulated the specific rituals of sacrificing the four emperors,including sacrificial supplies,time and methods.The fourth chapter discusses the characteristics and significance of Qin people’s worship of God.The worship of God of the Qin people not only has a distinct national and regional nature,but also embodies the characteristics of integrating the beliefs of the nation and the conquered nation.The worship of God of the Qin people is of great significance to the pioneering development of the Qin people.God worship adapted to the needs of the political rule and military expansion of the Qin people,and accelerated the process of the Chineseization of the Qin people.In addition,the worship of God of the Qin people also laid the foundation for the final formation of the worship of the "five-color emperor" in the Warring States Period. |
