A Study Of Shen Shanbao’s The First Anthology Of Hong Xue Lou Poems

In the middle and late Qing Dynasty,the times changed and the social environment changed from relative peace and stability to both internal and external threats.However,in this period,there are also poets who have made great achievements in poetics and established a certain status in literature.Born in Jiaqing and actived during the reigns of Daoguang and Xianfeng,Shen Shanbao has experienced ups and downs in her life.Her mentality changes with age.She is a miniature of the many female and talented women in this era,a representative case.The ill fate of life and the complicated background of the times together achieve her rich and diverse poetry art and the leading position of young ladies.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part introduces the purpose and significance of the study,the research summary at home and abroad,the thinking and methods of the study,and mainly expounds the study of Shen Shanbao and her poetry and poetry.The text is divided into four sections.The first chapter examines Shen Shanbao’s background.First,the article examines the unorthodox female education in Ming and Qing Dynasties,that is,the literature education in which educated women.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,economic prosperity,ideological enlightenment,and the flourishing of books and publishing industries,the rulers were more tolerant towards the ladies poets,and some progressive and enlightened scholars advocated that women should study poetry and have talent.Therefore,some of the better family conditions,cultural atmosphere of the more tolerant women,there are certain opportunities to learn poetry,and have achieved.Then,we study two factors that positively motivate Shen Shanbao’s creation,namely,family factor and individual factor.All in all,most of the women who were successful in poetry during the Ming and Qing Dynasties were like Shen Shanbao,not only were they from good backgrounds,they had a strong family atmosphere of literature,but more importantly,they were talented and diligent in their studies.Shen Shanbao was able to write and publish her own poetry books.The second chapter investigates the compilation and content of the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems.First,the author investigates the compilation and publication of the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems,and points out that the two editions of Tan Qin and Shan Dan’s proofreading have a common problem,that is,the order of volume 14 and volume15 may be wrong.Then,it focuses on the contents of the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems.According to statistics,the poetry anthologies consist of twelve kinds of subjects.Among these twelve kinds of subjects,the volume of making friends,writing scenery and narrating is the largest.The third chapter analyzes Shen Shanbao’s poetic view embodied in the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems.Firstly,the author discusses and demonstrates Shen Shanbao’s poetics view in the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems.Shen Shanbao’s poetics can be found in her treatise named Poetry Talks of Famous Women’s Poems,which can be summed up in three points in this paper: self-writing spirit,the aesthetic proposition of nature in poetry,the traditional quality of generosity and sincerity,affection and passion,and the strong voice of boudoir with strong charm.Combined with Shen Shanbao’s poetry creation the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems,the author analyzes and investigates her poetic view.Secondly,it analyzes the poems in the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems which do not accord with Shen Shanbao’s poetics.These poems do not conform to Shen Shanbao’s poetics view can be divided into three kinds.First,it does not conform to Shen Shanbao’s real and natural,long-lasting appeal poetry advocated in Poetry Talks of Famous Women’s Poems.Second,it is the poetry that does not conform to the concept of the nature of the poem and rarely cuts the ribbon.Third,it does not conform to Shen Shanbao’s pursuit of the elegant,elegant,heroic and melancholy poetic style embodied in her Poetry Talks of Famous Women’s Poems,as well as the poetry of the injustice and protest that is reflected in the poetry books and poetry stories about the female identity and the limitations of female identity.Then,it studies the reasons why the selected poems of the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems are different from the author’s poetic view.Shen Shanbao’s poetry style generally follows the aesthetics of "poetic clarity".In the early period,some poems are obviously vigorous and elegant.In the later period,this style gradually disappears.The main reasons for this change lie in the restriction of sex,the relative tension of cultural environment and the influence of the improvement of communication level.The fourth chapter analyzes and summarizes the meaning of the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems.First,the poetry collection records the life and historical events of the ladies in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.Many women poets in the Qing Dynasty,including Shen Shanbao,were good at integrating daily life into poetry and endowed with the function of poetry diary.Some of them,who were concerned about current affairs,also wrote historical events into poetry,which could be said to have certain significance in poetry history.Then,the poetry collection shows Shen Shanbao’s pursuit and exploration of individual life value.Shen Shanbao has two kinds of self-expectation in her poems,one is the image of literati and famous person,the other is the imagination of heroine,which embodies her strong sense of talent and value pursuit.Finally,Shen Shanbao and her the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems inspired other ladies to write and exchange poems.Shen Shanbao was a famous poetess at that time.Some ladies had heard of her poetry books.They were interested in asking for advice or were interested in making friends.Shen Shanbao also received female disciples,giving them advice and reward for their poetry.In fact,Shen Shanbao and her the First Anthology of Hong Xue Lou Poems have nurtured and maintained the vitality of female poetry.
