| Fuxi as the human ancestor of the Chinese nation related sacrificial activities are widely distributed in our country.Among them,Chengji(Tianshui,Gansu Province)was the birthplace of Fuxi,and related sacrificial activities began to appear as early as the second year of Taiping Xingguo(977)in the Northern Song Dynasty.With the passage of time,Tianshui area has formed a long history,complete sacrificial links,wide spread of the official ceremony to worship Fuxi,namely Tianshui public sacrifice Fuxi ceremony.Based on the theory of communication ritual view,this paper takes Tianshui Public offering Fuxi ceremony as the research object,and studies the Tianshui public offering Fuxi Ceremony as a social and cultural communication phenomenon by field observation and interview method.Firstly,the paper sorts out the evolution of the ceremony and the development of the sacrificial process of Fuxi’s ceremony in Tianshui,which lays a foundation for the detailed study of the ceremony later.Secondly,the main participants of the ceremony are divided into the main force,performers and audiences.Then,according to the theory of ritual view of communication,the ritual symbols of Tianshui ceremony to Fuxi are divided into verbal symbols and non-verbal symbols,through listing and analyzing the external expression and connotation of these ritual symbols.Then the propagation field is studied.Finally,the core content of this paper is introduced through the ritualized presentation of the ceremony,namely the ceremonial significance of the ceremony.By analyzing the content and symbols of the ceremony,this paper expounds the positive significance of the Fuxi ceremony to the Chinese nation’s cultural sharing,identity and emotional maintenance,that is,the Fuxi ceremony can not only realize the cultural sharing and identity of the Chinese nation,but also play an important role in maintaining the national emotion. |
