Wang Xiaobo,a famous writer who has passed away in contemporary China,is widely loved by readers and concerned by literary research circles.It is a hot topic to study Wang Xiaobo’s life and thought,his novels and essays.At present,the research on Wang Xiaobo’s The Golden of Age has been full and fruitful,but the attention on the Age of Bronze has been much less.Therefore,this paper chooses the Age of Bronze as the research object,explores the artistic characteristics and nihilistic connotation of the "post-modern parody" in the Age of Bronze from the art form of "post-modern parody",and then reflects on the essence of postmodern Chinese culture in the 1990 s.It also discusses the development of nihilism in Chinese contemporary culture in the 1990 s in the context of "post-modern parody",and summarizes the cultural and spiritual enlightenment of the Age of Bronze.This paper includes three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly explains the reason for choosing the topic,sorts out the research status of the Age of Bronze,and explains the innovation of this paper.The text consists of three parts.The first part discusses the artistic characteristics of the "post-modern parody" in the Age of Bronze,mainly including the historical origin of the theoretical term "parody" and the pre-text of the Age of Bronze parody,discusses the writing mode of the Age of Bronze non-narrative discourse,and discusses the deconstruction thought of the Age of Bronze post-modern parody.The second part starts with the two aesthetic features of the "post-modern parody" in the Age of Bronze,takes the "post-modern parody" in the Age of Bronze as the mirror image,and reviews the development essence of Chinese postmodernism and post-modern parody culture in the 1990 s,as well as the development of nihilism in the context of Chinese postmodernism in the 1990 s.The third chapter continues the content of the second chapter,discusses the nihilism connotation of the Age of Bronze and the cultural strategy of fighting nihilism,as well as the cultural and spiritual enlightenment.The cultural strategy of the Age of Bronze is the thinking of deconstruction and construction.Through the post-modern parody,it deconstructs the deep discourse power of culture and explores and constructs the ideal world based on the enlightenment modern thought.Learn Calvino’s allegorical writing mode of returning to ancient times to explore the spirit of the subject.The conclusion part summarizes the whole text and points out the enlightenment of Wang Xiaobo and his work the Age of Bronze to the development of current culture and ideology and the significance of future literature creation.
