Aesthetic Construction Of The Popularization Of Yan’an Literature And Art During The Yan’an Period

In recent years,the study of the popularization of literature and art in the Yan’an period has shown a prosperous trend.Many scholars have sorted out its development process and excavated its profound connotation.However,few studies have explored the aesthetic logic expressed in guiding literary and artistic practice from the perspective of aesthetic construction.This paper takes the Yan’an period aspecific historical period,and the theory of popularization of literature and art as the object of investigation,and constructs the internal logic of its aesthetic occurrence by analyzing the aesthetic ideology,aesthetic value and aesthetic ideal implied in the theory of popularization of literature and art in the Yan’an period.On the basis of summing up historical experience,it will provide useful enlightenment for the prosperity and development of contemporary literature and art.The theory of popularization of literature and art put forward by the party leaders in the Yan’an period did not deliberately emphasize the non-utilitarian nature of literature and art.Starting from historical materialism,they regarded literature and art as a special ideology that included "form and reason" and "love and knowledge",excavated their "utilitarian" literary and artistic creation orientation of leading the people,uniting the people,and educating the people,and promoted the in-depth development of the practice of popularization of literature and art.In order to better enable the broad masses of workers,peasants,and soldiers to draw spiritual strength from literary and artistic aesthetic activities,the party’s leaders profoundly answered the questions of "who serves literature and art," "how does literature and art serve workers,peasants and soldiers," "popularize and improve literature and art," and "the question of the national form of literature and art." The broad masses of literary and artistic workers are required to go deep into the lives of the masses of workers,peasants,and soldiers,pick up the pen in their hands,take real life as the source of creation,take the people’s emotions as the blood of vitality,and take the literary and artistic forms that the people like to hear and see as the form of expression,create literary and artistic works with vitality,warmth,and content,and place their hopes on the ideal of a beautiful society for the entire people.The literary and artistic models,the immersed ideal realm,and the standard Chinese style as an aesthetic ideal are the hopes of tens of millions of people,and the reason for them to continue to participate in the real struggle,guiding them to unite to achieve people’s liberation and realize the ultimate ideal.The aesthetic construction of the popularization of literature and art in the Yan’an period made literature and art another front outside the army at that time and an important part of the revolutionary machine.The historical experience summarized by him has provided valuable experience and enlightenment for the prosperity and development of today’s literature and art.
