Zhou Sicong is a peak of Chinese ink figure painting in the 20 th century,living in the era of great social changes in China.In the 1970 s,in the face of the spring breeze of reform and opening up,the domestic art environment was gradually relaxed.Zhou Sicong’s art exploration returned to the right track and carried out a series of art explorations.Among them,the creation practice of "mining map" successfully realized the innovation of the formal language of Chinese ink figure painting on the basis of inheriting traditional brush and ink,absorbing and integrating the advantages of western artistic language,which has important reference significance for the creation of contemporary Chinese ink figure painting.This paper first combs the creation background of mining drawings from two aspects: one is the social environment and art trend of thought of the era in which the author created,and the other is the awakening of the author’s personal self-consciousness.Through the background combing,this paper discusses the influencing factors of Zhou Sicong’s formal practice exploration.The second is to sort out the creation process of "mining map" on the basis of predecessors,starting from the conception process of "mining map",then sorting out the sketching process of Liaoyuan Coal Mine,and finally analyzing the influence of Kohler Huizhi and MARUKI on this creation.Through combing the creative process,we can understand Zhou Sicong’s methods of exploring practice.Third,it analyzes the specific content of the exploration of the formal language of mining drawings,which is mainly divided into four aspects: modeling language,picture structure,pen and ink language,and the spiritual connotation of mining drawings;Finally,through the study,we hope to explore the impact of the exploration of the form of mining drawings on Chinese ink figure painting and the inspiration to the current Chinese ink figure painting creation.In this paper,literature analysis,case analysis,comparative analysis and image research are used to study and discuss the topic.The research shows that Zhou Sicong’s mining map takes the exploration and innovation of formal language as the breakthrough point,while realizing the awakening of his own artistic personality,further promotes the "integration of Chinese and Western painting formal languages to fit the new cultural context,and pushes Chinese ink figure painting to a new period of diversified development.His experience and achievements still have important learning and research significance for contemporary ink figure painting creation. |
