Research On Lu You’s Guqin Poetry

Guqin is one of the oldest national musical instruments in China,bearing profound traditional cultural connotations and forming an indissoluble bond with literati.It is the sustenance of literati’s ideals and emotions,and it is also a symbol of literati’s noble quality.Lu You,an outstanding poet in ancient China,wrote many poems about Guqin,bearing his deep personal feelings.In life,he amuses himself with the Guqin,and when he is frustrated,he sends his feelings with the Guqin.From the instrument of Guqin,we can see his daily life,attitude towards life,thoughts and feelings.The text includes five aspects,and its main research contents are as follows:The first chapter describes the general situation of Lu You’s creation of qin poems.First of all,it defines and classifies Lu You’s qin poems.The poems related to the qin or expressing feelings with the qin are called qin poems.Lu You loved and understood the Guqin.He often wrote about his activities of listening to the Guqin,and also used a variety of images to express his feelings.Therefore,his Guqin poems can be divided into actual writing of the Guqin and the image of the Guqin.Thirdly,Lu You’s Guqin poetry creation is related to the arrival of the Qin culture of the Song Dynasty and the life experience of the poet.The second chapter analyzes the poet’s daily life as shown in the Guqin poems.Lu You has a heart that loves life,he often plays the Guqin to entertain himself with the clear wind and bright moon,and also enjoys the life of the left Guqin and the right book,burning incense and caressing the Guqin,listening to the Guqin to cook tea,playing the Guqin and drinking,very leisurely.The third chapter elaborates on the emotional sustenance contained in Lu Youqin’s poems.First of all,although Lu You returned to the countryside,he never changed his determination to serve the country,and it was his lifelong wish to recover his homeland and serve the motherland.Secondly,Lu You often had the intention of idleness when he was frustrated in life,and he also had a spiritual fit with Tao Yuanming and other hermits.Finally,poets often express their exclamations about life with the Guqin.The fourth chapter analyzes the traditional thoughts embodied in Lu You’s Guqin poems.First of all,Lu You’s Guqin poems reflect the Confucian thought of rites and music.Guqin can cultivate one’s body and reason,and is a tool for a gentleman to cultivate one’s body.But also to teach the virtues of the gods,to educate the world,to sing the praises of the holy government.Secondly,the poet is also influenced by the thoughts of Huang Lao.When the official career is hopeless,he temporarily puts down the obsession of becoming an official and seeks a peaceful and detached life realm.Thirdly,Lu You’s Guqin poems also reflect the poet’s understanding of Zen purported interests.The fifth chapter summarizes the value of Lu You’s qin poems.First of all,Lu You’s qin poems developed the theme,connotation and related images of qin poems,which also provided reference value for future generations to study Qin poems in the Song Dynasty.Thirdly,Lu You’s Guqin poems show the interweaving of the poet’s thoughts of being born and entering the world,and contain the traditional thoughts of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,which have certain ideological value.
