| "Dedicating Everything to the Party" is the author Wu Yunduo on how to grow up to be a communist revolutionary soldier as the main line of a personal autobiography,is also a red classic literature work.The book not only plays a positive role in cultivating teenagers’ patriotism,but also is one of the important ways for teenagers to learn the revolutionary spirit and inherit the red gene.Since the publication of "Dedicating everything to the Party",it has a wide range of reading groups and has a good communication effect,which makes its Kazakh translation also have certain translation research value.Because this book contains rich cultural information,in order to overcome the barriers of language and culture,and accurately express the content and thoughts and feelings of the original text,the translator needs to use explicit expression in the translation,so as to achieve effective translation.Explicitation is is one of the most common phenomena in the process of translation,which can also be called clarity,externalization,express and so on.The essence of "explicit phenomenon" is that in order to make readers understand the content and logic of the original text more accurately,the information hidden or not clearly expressed in the non-translated text is embodied in the translated text in another more clear way,so as to achieve the best translation effect.By sorting out the research results on explicitation at home and abroad,this paper takes the Kazakh translation of "Dedicating Everything to the Party" as the research corpus,takes Hu Kaibao’s definition and classification of explicitation as the premise,and takes systematic functional linguistics’ classification of explicitation as the theoretical basis,so as to explore the explicitation phenomenon in the Kazakh translation of "Dedicating Everything to the Party".This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the research reasons and significance,research status,research methods and innovations of this paper.The main body is divided into four chapters.The first chapter gives a brief overview of different scholars’ definition and classification of explicitation,as well as the three meta-functional theories of systemic functional linguistics.Finally,Professor Hu Kaibao’s definition of explicitation and Hu Kaibao’s and Zhu Yifan’s classification of explicitation are selected as the theoretical guidance of this paper.The second chapter mainly discusses the explicit phenomenon in the translation of Chinese Kazakh language of "dedicating everything to the Party".Referring to the theory of systemic functional linguistics,this paper analyzes the classification of explicitation from three angles: conceptual functional information explicitation,interpersonal functional information explicitation and textual functional information explicitation.It is found that conceptual functional information is the most prominent in the explicitation degree,while interpersonal functional information and discourse functional information are less obvious in the explicitation degree.The third chapter,from the perspective of explicit translation,takes the concrete examples in the Kazakh version as the research corpus,and summarizes the three principles in the process of explicitation:target reader-oriented,target language standardized,reflecting the intention of the original author,and the translation methods of supplement,interpretation and concrete method..The fourth chapter combines the characteristics and principles of explicit translation,and concludes that the main causes of explicit phenomenon are translation process,language difference,cultural difference and translator’s choice.The conclusion is mainly based on the analysis of the above contents,and summarizes the whole text. |
