The Charm Of The Late Tang Dynasty: The Practice Of Meticulous Flower And Bird Color Language

Color language is an important part of artistic language and visual representation in meticulous flower-and-bird painting.Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting became an independent discipline in the Tang Dynasty,and its color language constitutes a unique system that is extensive,profound and has a long history.The meticulous flower-and-bird paintings of the late Tang Dynasty played a very good link between the past and the future in the entire system of it.This article starts from exploring the color language in the meticulous flower-andbird paintings of the late Tang Dynasty.First of all,through the study of techniques,styles and tools and materials in the late Tang Dynasty,explore the reasons for the formation of its color language;secondly,by analyzing the representative existing paintings of the late Tang Dynasty,the specific color language is summarized and sorted out;finally,the feasibility of the color language in the late Tang Dynasty is tested,and the objective reproduction of the color language in the late Tang Dynasty meticulous flower-and-bird painting is developed into a subjective re-creation.Incorporate more contemporary elements into creation,create an artistic style with both traditional aesthetic interest and characteristics of the times,and expand color language and forms of expression.
