| Family atmosphere plays an important role in adolescents’ mental health and cognitive Socialized development,establishing a good family relationship can promote the cultivation of adolescents’ social skills.But the advent of the Internet has quietly changed People’s Daily life,more and more parents love their mobile phones more than they care about their children.Previous studies have found that parental phubbing not only brings the risk of accidental injury to their children,but also leads to many internalization and externalization problems for their children.At the same time,existing studies have confirmed that family parenting style has a certain influence on adolescents’ social avoidance and distress.In order to further explore the mechanism of parental phubbing on junior middle school students’ social avoidance and distress in negative parenting styles,this study proposed a moderated mediation model based on Axpectancy Violations Theory,Theory of Compensatory Internet Use,Social Exchange Theory and Diathes-Stress Model.In order to reduce the social avoidance and distress of junior middle school students,and to provide effective guidance for the healthy development of adolescent body and mind.In this study,by means of questionnaire survey,Parental Phubbing Scale,Social Avoidance and Distress Scale,Online Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction Scale and Environmental Sensitivity Scale were selected to send questionnaires to two junior middle schools in L province,and 934 valid questionnaires were obtained,SPSS22.0 and Amos24.0 were used to process the data and make relevant statistical analysis.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are significant gender differences in parental phubbing,social avoidance and distress,online basic psychological need satisfaction and environmental sensitivity of junior middle school parents,and there are significant differences in the grade level of online basic psychological need satisfaction and among which there are significant differences in the dimensions of easy to stimulate in grades environmental sensitivity.(2)Parental phubbing can directly positively predict junior middle school students’ social avoidance and distress,that is,the more junior middle school students perceive their parental phubbing,the higher their degree of social avoidance and distress.(3)Online basic psychological need satisfaction plays a partial mediating role between parental phubbing and social avoidance and distress.That is,the more teenagers perceive their parental phubbing,the higher the degree of their online basic psychological need satisfaction,and the higher the degree of social avoidance and distress.(4)Environmental sensitivity plays a moderating role in the relationship between parental phubbing,social avoidance and distress.Compared with junior middle school students with low environmental sensitivity,junior middle school students with high environmental sensitivity perceived that parental phubbing had a greater impact on social avoidance and distress.The more parental phubbing behavior they perceived,the higher the degree of social avoidance and distress.(5)Environmental sensitivity plays a moderating role in the relationship between parental phubbing and online basic psychological need satisfaction.Compared with junior middle school students with low environmental sensitivity,junior middle school students with high environmental sensitivity perceive parental phubbing has a greater impact on online basic psychological need satisfaction.The more parental phubbing they perceive,the higher degree of online basic psychological need satisfaction they have.To sum up,in order to avoid the occurrence of social avoidance and distress of junior middle school students,this study puts forward the following educational suggestions:(1)Parents should set up exemplary behavior and demonstrate a benign lifestyle for their children.(2)Social and school cooperation organizes practical activities to provide a platform for teenagers to communicate with each other.(3)Schools carry out online publicity and education to cultivate teenagers’ self-discipline awareness and improve their ability to discriminate online information.(4)Pay attention to the mental health of teenagers with high environmental sensitivity,and create a supportive educatior environment for them. |
