| With the continuous development of international Chinese education,Chinese textbooks for international students emerge endlessly.A textbook is a tool for students to learn.The quality of a textbook,to some extent,determines the quality of learning and teaching effect.At present,many universities in China have offered ancient Chinese courses for international students,but the compilation of ancient Chinese textbooks for international students has been in a state of slow development.Different from modern Chinese,there are few resources for international students to learn ancient Chinese,and textbooks are the most important source.In order to facilitate international students to learn ancient Chinese more effectively,it is necessary and valuable to compile an ancient Chinese textbook which is of moderate difficulty and can be used in teaching practice.At the same time,it also promotes the development of overseas sinology research.The whole paper is divided into five parts,the introduction part mainly explains the background and research significance,research methods and sorts out the achievements of predecessors in the research and teaching research of ancient Chinese textbooks,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the writing of the paper.The first chapter compares the overall design of the two textbooks from three perspectives: writing purpose,writing principle and writing style.To understand the differences between the two textbooks from a macro perspective.The second chapter compares the contents of the teaching materials,including the comparison of the same elements and the comparison of the characteristic contents.The comparison of the same elements includes four aspects: text,vocabulary,grammar and practice.The comparison of characteristic contents includes cultural common sense,introduction of works,explanation of Chinese characters and modern use of ancient Chinese.The third chapter analyzes the problems in the compilation and use of ancient Chinese textbooks through interviews with teachers and students.It includes the inconsistency between the purpose of compiling textbooks and the purpose of students ’ learning,the lack of interest and practicability of textbooks,the single form of textbooks,and the slow update of textbooks.The fourth chapter compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks,starting from the compilation and use of textbooks,and puts forward some specific suggestions on the arrangement and content of textbooks,as well as the use of textbooks by teachers and students.This paper mainly makes a comparative analysis of two representative textbooks of ancient Chinese Reader and Ancient Chinese.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks,the author discusses the principles of the compilation of ancient Chinese textbooks.I hope to provide some constructive and feasible suggestions for the compilation of ancient Chinese textbooks in the future,and to better promote the development of international Chinese language education. |
