In the 1930 s,Shen Fuwen,Lei Guiyuan,Pang fuming and other REVIVERS of Chinese culture devoted themselves to the innovation of Chinese traditional skills.With the renaming of Sichuan Provincial Art College and Chengdu Art College,in 1953,Chengdu Art College merged with southwest people’s art college to establish southwest Art College and set up lacquer design specialty."Lacquer art" became one of the nine professional courses of art colleges specified by the Ministry of culture,and was renamed Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in1959.Sichuan Fine Arts Institute is an important art university in Southwest China.It is an important practice base of design education.Design pioneers have successively introduced different teaching systems,teaching models and design education ideas from Japan,France and other countries.Sichuan Fine Arts Institute has different teaching purposes and missions in different periods.This paper aims to sort out the teaching context of lacquer art major in Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in different periods and restore the educational outlook in different periods.This paper is divided into seven parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the background,research methods and research significance of the topic.Based on the historical materials of different periods and the oral content of teachers,this paper restores the teaching history of the lacquer art major of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute,and holds that the teaching characteristics of the lacquer art major of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute are keeping pace with the times;The second part of the paper combs the development context of the discipline of lacquer art major in Sichuan Fine Arts Institute,summarizes the discipline development history and discipline development events,and makes analysis and tentative interpretation in combination with the background of the times;The third chapter expounds the construction of school specialty from three aspects:the transformation of professional curriculum,the transformation of teaching thought and the source of design education thought;The fourth,the fifth and the sixth chapters discuss respectively from the school talented person training,the teacher troop construction,the specialized social service.The conclusion part reviews the development of school teaching,and summarizes the teaching ideas and characteristics.In the history of Chinese lacquer culture,"lacquer art",a folk art,has become a discipline specialty in art colleges and universities.Sichuan Fine Arts Institute shoulders the responsibility and mission of developing Chinese crafts,actively explores the development of lacquer art,and promotes the pace of Chinese traditional craft education.
