The study of landscape painting has always followed the principle of the trinity of copying,sketching,and creating;Landscape painting from lifecan not only improve the artist’sown artistic level,but also improve landscape painting techniques.This article analyzes the significance of landscape painting from life and combs the development vein of ancient and modern landscape painting from life,combining with my own practical experience in Longnan,expounds the important role that landscape painting from life plays in the inheritance and development of traditional brush and ink techniques in landscape painting.Sketching is the observation and recording of natural images and life forms,a process from life to practice,and a prerequisite for the development and innovation of landscape paintingSince ancient times,landscape painting has played an important role in the learning process of Shan shui.All landscape painters who have made outstanding achievements in the past dynasties are familiar with the laws of nature and guide their own sketching.The Tang Dynasty painter Zhang Zao’s "learning from nature,learning from the source of the heart" perfectly explains that the achievements of many excellent painters are not accidental,but the result of often experiencing the beauty of heaven and earth in natural landscapes and drawing from life.Art comes from life.Landscape painters should have the ability to find and express beauty in ordinary natural scenery.Through one’s own practical experience,draw the conclusion that different tool materials and performance techniques produce different forms of beauty.The changes in the density,dryness,and wetness of ink painting depict the eerie beauty of nature;The light,dark,virtual,and real tones of pencils depict changes in the hierarchy of objects;The line drawn by the pen demonstrates the density and contrast between natural scenery.Shan shui has a variety of ways of expression and different charm.Sketching is an effective means for painters to exercise their modeling skills,collect materials,refine their brush and ink skills,and digest traditional techniques.It is also a comprehensive reflection of painters’ ability to extract and summarize natural objects. |
