Cyberbullying behavior is a derivative form of traditional bullying.It is a new form of bullying based on the Internet as a medium to carry out deliberate and repeated bullying against individuals or groups.With the continuous development of network technology,high school students have become more and more accustomed to the convenience brought by the network space,and the phenomenon of cyberbullying is also on the rise and intensified,so how to intervene in the cyberbullying of high school students is an imminent problem.As a positive emotion,awe can bring many benefits to individuals,and it has been proven that awe can reduce bullying behavior in individuals.As a kind of bullying behavior,whether awe can affect the level of individual cyberbullying and how it affects cyberbullying is the focus of this study.Second,it remains to be seen whether the level of cyberbullying can be reduced by intervening to induce awe in high school students.Therefore,this study adopted questionnaire survey and experimental intervention methods to try to find the internal mechanism of awe’s influence on cyberbullying,as well as simple and feasible intervention methods,so as to provide reference for reducing the level of cyberbullying of high school students.This study is divided into two parts: Study 1 Conducted an offline questionnaire survey on students in Grade one and grade two of high school in Hubei Province by giving out "Cyberbullying Scale","Trait Awe Scale" and "Rumination Response Scale ".699 valid questionnaires were obtained,including380 students in grade one,319 students in grade two,324 boys and 375 girls.On this basis,the relationship between trait awe,rumination and cyberbullying was investigated.The second study aims to explore the intervention effect of awe walking on awe emotion and cyberbullying of high school students.A high school in Tianmen,Hubei Province was selected.Two classes were randomly selected and divided into the intervention group with 57 students and the control group with 57 students,including 64 boys and 50 girls.57 subjects in the intervention group received awe walks intervention 8 times for 8 weeks,while those in the control group did not receive any treatment.The effect of intervention was evaluated according to the comparison of variables before and after measurement.The main findings show that:(1)There is a significant gender difference in cyberbullying,with boys scoring significantly higher than girls;Rumination and its dimensions were different in grades.The score of senior one was significantly higher than that of senior two.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between trait awe and rumination,a significant positive correlation between rumination and cyber bullying,but no significant correlation between trait awe and rumination;(3)Rumination played a complete mediating role in the influence of trait awe on cyberbullying,and trait awe affected the level of cyberbullying by influencing rumination(4)After intervention,the level of trait awe and awe experience in the intervention group will be significantly increased,and the intervention results have good persistence in the tracking test,the control group has no significant difference in trait awe and awe experience at three time points;(5)Awe walks can effectively reduce cyberbullying of high school students.After the intervention,the cyberbullying and cyberbullying attitude in the intervention group can be significantly reduced compared with the control group.Conclusions:(1)The lower the level of trait awe,the higher the level of rumination,which leads to the rise of cyber bullying.(2)The 8-week awe walking intervention can increase the level of trait awe and awe experience,inhibit the rise of rumination thinking,and reduce the level of cyber bullying.
