Research On Percussion Courses In The Department Of Music Education At Shanghai Conservatory Of Music

The Department of Music Education at Shanghai Conservatory of Music has developed a comprehensive and innovative structural system for its percussion courses.This paper focuses on the teaching objectives,content,modes,and methods of the compulsory course "Rhythm and Percussion" and the elective course "Percussion Rehearsal" for the majors offered by the conservatory.The paper also briefly analyzes the main contents of the newly added compulsory course "Orchestra Management(Percussion)".It examines the significance and value of percussion courses in college music education and explores the future development of these courses.By examining the percussion courses in the Department of Music Education at Shanghai Conservatory of Music,this paper aims to provide a deeper understanding of the role and importance of percussion education in higher education.
