An Analysis Of The Artistic Features And Exp Loration Of Command Techniques Of Alejandro Monestel’s "Lenten Cantata"

The following work seeks to analyze and determine the importance of Alejandro Monestel’s Lenten Cantata,"The Seven Last Words of Christ",for the musical history of Costa Rica.To achieve this analysis and determine this importance,several academic journal articles that talk about the musical influence of Alejandro Monestel will be analyzed,specifically during his stay in the United States,which is when he composed the composition,the context of the composer and the sociocultural context in which he lived in 1915,an analysis and appreciation of the music in the work and the art of conducting it,at last,my impressions and,experiences in conducting the work outside of Costa Rica.
