New Media Perspective The Construction Of Typical Characters In Military Micro-documentaries

The image of the army is an important part of the national image and the spirit of the soldier is the symbol of the soft power of the national army.In the era of integrated development of new media,military micro-documentaries should also follow the pace of The Times and create works that are highly recognized by the current audience and receive a large amount of information,so as to better arouse the audience’s emotional resonance.Different from military-themed movies and TV dramas that construct typical character images with heroism,military-themed micro documentaries pay more attention to authenticity and individuality.It focuses on the individuals in the group of "soldiers",highlights the growth and changes of the individuals themselves,records the causes of their transformation and the heart course in the transformation process.The paper first tells what is new media and the author’s understanding of military micro-documentaries;Secondly,it describes three different stages and periods from military documentary to micro documentary,the evolution of typical character construction,and the reasons why typical character images constantly evolve.From the three aspects of narrative strategy,audio-visual strategy and communication strategy,this paper describes the construction strategy of typical characters in the military micro-documentary.This paper expounds the value of constructing typical characters in military micro-documentaries from two aspects of propaganda value and extension value.By exploring how to make military micro-documentaries "out of the circle" in the new media environment,how to better spread and resonate with the audience in the information explosion and rapid development of the network world,and how to focus on the value of "soldiers" as individuals.Combined with the graduation work "The Original Intention is like Torch · The mission is like Rock",the image is used to present the complex and diversified typical character image construction,by showing their differences as individuals and the common identity of "soldiers",to show the condensed deep love for the motherland and the people.
