Exploration On Composition Techniques Of Qin Wenchen’s "Ling Lun Making Music"

Qin Wenchen is one of the most active contemporary composers in China and a professor(deputy dean)of the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music."Ling Lun Making Music(Yue)Picture" was created in 2018,and the motivation for the creation was the legend of "Ling Lun Making Music".The Yellow Emperor ordered Ling Lun to imitate the singing of phoenix birds in nature,invent rhythms and make music based on them.Based on the sounds of phoenixes and birds in nature and natural sounds,Ling Lun created a variety of musical instruments such as the sheng,and set twelve rhythms to imitate the sounds of nature in conjunction with the five tones.Qin Wenchen used an orchestra to simulate the sound effect of the phoenix leading a hundred birds to sing in ancient myths and legends,and used a wind instrument from Thailand,the "Thai bird flute",which the composer used to express his thoughts.The sound of a phoenix chirping.The analysis of Professor Qin Wenchen’s works has certain important artistic theoretical significance.This work is based on the creative thinking of the core sound,and the main development method is based on the core pitch and timbre sound.The study of this work will be carried out from three aspects : the overall structure,the organization of pitch materials,and the layout of timbre.The first chapter divides the structure of the work,the second chapter analyzes the composition and development of the core pitch material,and the third chapter analyzes the use of musical instruments and the expression of different timbres.Through the analysis of Qin Wenchen’s creative techniques and thought expression of "Ling Lun Making Fun",it brings some thoughts to the author.
