| As a famous conductor,composer and theorist in modern Germany,Paul Hindemith,one of the most famous composers in the neoclassical period,plays a pivotal role in the history of Western music in the 20 th century.His ideas and works have a profound influence on the music creation of modern composers.Paul Hindemith’s Sonata for Trumpet and Piano in B Flat Major is one of the most classic sonatas for trumpet.This paper focuses on Hindemith’s Sonata for Trumpet and Piano in B Flat Major from the perspectives of historical background,creation style,musical structure,and performance technique.By combining my own practice and concert performance experience,this paper explores matters needing attention and existing problems in performance and gives solutions. |
