Exploring And Analyzing The Design Of Emotional Expression In Rachmaninoff’s Art Songs; And The Particularity Of Piano Accompaniment

Rachmaninoff’s art songs are considered to be the treasures of Russian art songs,and each of them shows a high level of compositional skill and a unique way of expressing emotions that belong to him."Oh!never sing to me again" and "How fair this spot" are the most popular works among Rachmaninoff’s art songs."Melody" is rarely sung and analyzed in China.This paper takes these three Rachmaninoff art songs as the object of study,based on the review of Rachmaninoff’s life and career of art song creation,and discusses the art songs from three aspects: the music itself,the analysis of the lyrics and the vocal comparison of four singers.This paper discusses the musical characteristics and singing skills of the art songs "Oh!never sing to me again","Melody" and "How fair this spot",analyzing them in detail from the aspects of artistic processing,emotional expression and the creative features and functions of the piano,in connection with the author’s learning experience,hoping to give some inspiration and help to singing students.Methods:Literature research,audio-visual analysis,experience summary,comparative analysis...
