| Comprehensive course includes phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,Chinese characters and other language elements as well as listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.It is not only the main course for learning Chinese,but also the core course,which has a pivotal position in Chinese teaching.Its teaching quality and effectiveness have a great influence on the quality and effectiveness of the whole Chinese language teaching.For the learners,the comprehensive class at the primary level is the beginning of learning Chinese language,which has an important role in guiding their Chinese learning process and can lay the foundation for their learning at the intermediate and advanced levels.Teaching design is a professional discipline about how to systematically design teaching methods,teaching contents,planning arrangements,and teaching and learning assessment.Its helps teachers to have an overall grasp of teaching activities,including analyzing the characteristics of teaching situations and teaching objects,determining teaching objectives,teaching methods and teaching strategies,etc.,so that the whole teaching process can be carried out in an orderly manner and effectively improve teaching quality and teaching efficiency.Therefore,instructional design is the foundation of successful teaching,the guarantee of teaching quality,one of the important factors of teaching success,and an effective way to combine theory and practice.In this paper,we design the teaching of the lesson My Room in the elementary comprehensive Chinese textbook Learn Chinese Happily,taking the 6th grade EP6/8 class of Anuban Wat Angthong School in Thailand as the teaching target.The full paper is divided into five sections.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly describes the origin and significance of the study,the current situation of the study,and the research target and methods.Analyzing the current situation from three aspects: instructional design theory,teaching design of Chinese as a foreign language and comprehensive Chinese language courses;The research methods mainly includes interview,classroom observation and questionnaire.Chapter 2 discusses the theoretical basis and principles of teaching design.Behaviorism,Cognitivism and humanism are taken as the theoretical bases,and three major teaching principles are followed: communicative principle,interesting principle and flexible principle.Chapter 3 is the analysis of factors related to teaching design,which mainly includes three parts: analysis of teaching environment,analysis of teaching objects,and analysis of teaching materials and texts.Chapter 4 is the teaching design plan of My Room,which mainly includes teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching priorities and difficulties,teaching methods and teaching steps.Chapter 5 is devoted to the evaluation and reflection of the teaching,reflecting on the successes of the teaching design and the problems that need to be further explored through peer evaluation,student evaluation and teacher self-evaluation,and making some teaching suggestions in order to provide a reference for the teaching of comprehensive primary Chinese classes in Thailand. |
