| In recent years,Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Language has been booming and the “Chinese Popular” is imperceptibly affecting the world.As the“Chinese Popular” continues,the demand for Chinese teachers is increasing in countries around the world,and the number of domestic units that train masters in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Language is also growing.The Philippines,known as the “Thousand Islands Country”,has had close exchanges with China since ancient times and has a long history of Chinese language education.It has been nearly two decades since the first batch of volunteer Chinese language teachers went to the Philippines in 2003.In order to understand the current research status of existing research results,this paper selects the master’s dissertations on Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages about the Philippines from 2011 to 2022,which are included in CNKI,and the sample dissertations total 272.Based on the empirical research,the author mainly adopts the literature review method and statistical analysis method to quantitatively analyze the research status of the sample dissertations,it summarizes the characteristics and trends of the research,and present suggestions,which will hopefully serve as a reference for future research on master’s dissertations with the Philippines as the research country.This research is mainly divided into the following five chapters,with specific contents as follows:The first chapter introduces the reasons and significance of the topic,the research object and the research method,and makes a literature review.The second chapter describes the research types and research content classification standards of sample papers from 2011 to 2022,and quantifies the research types,research contents,research theories and research methods.The third chapter,based on the data of the second chapter,summarizes the current research characteristics and trends of the thesis of master’s thesis in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages in the Philippines.According to the results of statistical analysis,the fourth chapter analyzes the current problems in the study and puts forward relevant suggestions for the creation and research of the master’s degree thesis in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages about Philippines.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which expounds the main conclusions of this paper,points out the shortcomings of the current research and looks forward to the future related research. |
