A Study On The Construction Of “X来Y去” And Its Uyghur Translatio

"X comes and Y goes" is an iterative construct that frequently appears in daily communication and written language.It has the characteristics of rich meaning,wide text distribution,diverse pragmatic functions and complex cognitive mechanism.The combined effect of these characteristics makes "X comes and Y goes" a construction that is frequently used.There are some special cases in the construction of "X comes and Y goes" in the process of dimensional translation.Based on this,this paper takes "construction grammar" and other relevant theories as the theoretical basis to discuss the corresponding expression forms of the semantics of "X comes and Y goes" construction in Uyghur.This paper discusses the definition of "X comes Y goes" construction and component analysis.It is divided into the analysis of the properties of the constants "coming" and "going" and the variable terms X and Y,and determines that "X comes and Y goes" is a construction.The directional meaning of the constants "coming" and "going" is gradually grammaticalized along with the variable terms "X and Y".Variable X and Y can be composed of various types of words,including verbs,nouns,adjectives,etc.,to solve the problem of what "X comes and Y goes" construction is.First,according to the cognitive correlation theory and construction grammar theory,the cognitive analysis of the "X to Y to Y" construction is carried out,and the concept integration theory is used to divide the "X to Y to Y" construction into two categories:high integration degree and low integration degree.Through the conceptual metaphor theory,we can see that the construction has completed the process of metaphor by means of the extension of meaning,from the spatial domain to the non-spatial domain,from the representation of concrete events to the representation of abstract events.Second,through the study of the pragmatic function of the "X to Y to Y"construction,it is concluded that it has the function of emphasizing and highlighting the focus.Third,by studying the distribution of the construction"X comes and Y goes" and its function in the discourse,it is concluded that the construction "X comes and Y goes" can appear in the position of the starting sentence,the subsequent sentence and the terminating sentence.In terms of the function of discourse,it assumes the function of cohesion and reference.Cohesion means can be divided into explicit cohesion and implicit cohesion;The reference can be divided into two kinds:pre-reference reference and postreference reference.The above research has a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the construction "X comes and Y goes".By using construction grammar theory to analyze the dimension translation of"X comes and Y goes" construction from the semantic level,it is concluded that the semantic content of the whole format expressed by "X comes and Y goes"construction in different contexts is also different because of the different grammatical properties of "X" and "Y".The semantics of the whole construction are extremely colorful.However,the most basic construction meaning of this construction can be understood as continuous,repeated,alternating meaning.According to corpus analysis,the dimension translation methods of "X comes and Y goes" construction are literal translation and free translation.Translation techniques can be divided into three categories:extension,extension and ellipsis.The author thinks that the syntactic function of the construction "X comes and Y goes" has strong flexibility,which is manifested in the flexibility of subject,object and predicate.Construction grammar theory promotes the construction of "X comes and Y goes".Its rich pragmatic functions and wide text distribution create conditions for its high frequency use.
