As the main curriculum in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,comprehensive curriculum includes many areas of Chinese teaching,and it is the most common type of lesson in Chinese language teaching.so it has always been the focus of academic research.However,in its development process,the phenomenon of filling the classroom often appears,which resulting in much less effective teaching.The reason is the unreasonable use of teaching methods,but task-based teaching method can solve this problem.Task-based teaching method presented in the1980 s by Prabhu,emphasises the learner-centred approach,with the teacher acting as a guide,thus avoiding the phenomenon of filling up the classroom and making it very suitable for integrated Chinese lessons at primary level.Therefore,this paper is based on task-based pedagogy,according to the content of Lesson 13 Is This Chinese Medicine in the first volume(I)of Chinese Course,combined with the characteristics of students of Henan University Grade 22 undergraduate course,teaching design,hoping to provide a case study for the comprehensive course of Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one is the abstract of this paper,which illustrates the reason for choosing the subject and the implications of the research,reviews the current status of research on pedagogical design,task-based pedagogy and integrated classes at home and abroad,and introduces the research approach of this paper.Chapter two is an extensive overview of the task-based approach,comprising the definition,principles,theoretical foundations and teaching models of the task-based approach,and an investigation of the adaptability of the task-based method to a comprehensive elementary Chinese course.Chapter three is the online teaching design plan for the elementary Chinese comprehensive course Is This Chinese Medicine and is the major section of this paper.which provides a detailed analysis of the online teaching environment,teaching targets,lesson type,textbook and other relevant elements,explains the teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods,lesson time arrangement and other teaching preparation aspects,and specifically showcased a detailed teaching process.Chapter four is on teaching assessment and profound consideration,which evaluates this teaching design,identifies the problems and deficiencies in the teaching design,and offer corresponding teaching proposal.
