| A recent spurt of progress in technology and human civilization has enabled films,the “seventh art”,more accessible to the public.Ushering in the digital age,films have gradually been transferred from the screen and the theater.Screenlife films,with computer desktops as the main platform and mobile devices as the viewing media,have also jumped into people’s sight.As Searching and Unfriended: Dark Web,representatives of screenlife films,made a hit,films of a kind reached a new height and attracted attention from fans worldwide.However,screenlife films did not enter a prime age.Although a niche in the present film market,the unique presentation of screenlife films also reflects the characteristics and trends of the digital age.Compared with traditional films,they have shown unique charm and characteristics in terms of narrative strategy and audio-visual language,but there are still numerous conundrums and challenges.Combining the development status,image characteristics,film language,media context,and drama changes,this paper sorts out and analyzes screenlife films in the digital age.Using literature analysis and case analysis methods to delve into their value,this paper makes practical explorations on screenlife films taking the short screenlife film Early Spring. |
