The art of drama is entirely based on the mutual communication and self-communication of the characters in the play.Only when actors communicate with each other on the stage,can they create vivid and three-dimensional characters.During the rehearsal of "Marriage",the author realized that all the characters’ emotional collisions originate from real communication,and each real communication can produce new inspiration and changes.During the rehearsal process,the characters’ images become more and more three-dimensional and alive,from plain script images to actual living people.Many actors easily overlook the importance of stage communication,or fail to tell the difference from real communication to fake ones,and turn "listening,seeing and feeling" into an empty slogan.This article will discuss the role of stage communication in acting,and combine theoretical knowledge with the author’s own experience to analyze and study how to establish real communication and how to use stage communication to shape characters.
