Application Of Chi Pattern In Modern Design

Over the past five thousand years,China has nurtured different types of national and regional cultures,With the rapid development of modern science and technology,many traditional cultures have been forgotten by people as time goes by.Chinese traditional decorative patterns are no exception.Chi pattern is a common auspicious animal pattern in ancient Chinese traditional decoration.It used to be second only to dragon and phoenix pattern in the traditional hierarchical ritual system.which is an important part of traditional decorative pattern.The study of Chi pattern has important theoretical and practical significance for the study of Chinese traditional decorative pattern.Due to historical reasons,the design and application of Chi pattern is even used,and the transformation design in modern society is even less.Taking Ch pattern as the research object,this thesis studies from three aspects such as cultural inheritance,design innovation and design application.First of all,the existing historical documents and cultural relics of Chi pattern are investigated by using the research method of image science,the historical cultural background and social background of Chi pattern are studied,its cultural connotation and national spirit are analyzed,and the inheritance vein and causes are studied.Secondly,it studies the form characteristics of various types of Chi pattern,analyzes the reconstruction and combination methods of Chi pattern in modern design from the perspective of form composition,extracts the pattern,color and other form design elements of Chi pattern,and carries out innovative form design based on pattern.Finally,with the design elements extracted,the design practice of "Chi pattern Chi language" studio is carried out,and the design of VI,IP,posters,cultural and creative products is carried out.In addition,the initial design attempt is made on how to effectively spread "traditional Chi pattern culture" by means of new media interaction.In order to analyze the morphological characteristics and evolution rules of Chi pattern through the innovative design and research of Chi pattern,explore the path of modernization transformation of traditional Chinese pattern,so as to make the excellent traditional Chinese pattern and the culture carried by it more effectively inherit in modern society and carry forward the Chinese culture and national spirit.
