Research On The Narrative Strategy Of Urban Children’s Documentaries

The growth of children is related to the future and destiny of a family,a nation,and a country,and family,nation,and country,as environmental factors,also directly affect and determine the growth process of children.Therefore,the whole society has always paid close attention to the group of children,and the creation of documentaries about children is also extremely important.Documentaries focusing on children can not only show the living conditions of different children,show the physical and mental development of children,analyze children’s special behavior patterns,but also reflect the impact of different education on children’s growth.However,in the current numerous documentaries on children,most of them appeal to the society to take care of ethnic minority children and rural children,while there are relatively few video records and types of research on the current situation of urban children.Although urban children can enjoy relatively rich material living conditions,their growth process will also face various problems,so they also need to be valued and reflected by the society in order to provide children in different environments with more conducive to their own growth.environment,so as to discuss important topics of children’s development together.Documentaries focus on narration,so the application of narratology is of great significance to the study of urban children’s documentaries.This paper mainly uses text analysis method,case study method,pull film observation method and experience summarization method,combined with the graduation work Where Children Grow Up and uses theories related to narratology as the starting point of the research,specifically from the narrative viewpoint,narrative structure and video narrative language to study the narrative strategies of urban children’s documentaries.First of all,this paper focuses on defining and sorting out the concept and development history of urban children’s documentaries,and analyzes several commonly used creative modes.Secondly,it mainly analyzes the importance of the use of multiple narrative viewpoints in urban children’s documentaries to the film,and classifies and summarizes the common narrative structures of urban children’s documentaries,and expounds the uniqueness of different structures in the film.At the same time,it focuses on analyzing the narrative structure of the film Where Children Grow Up.In addition,video is an important support for documentary narrative.This paper also specifically analyzes the processing techniques and performance skills of the film WhereChildren Grow Up in terms of picture language and sound language.Finally,combined with the creative practical experience of graduation works,this paper expounds the narrative value of urban children’s theme documentary,thinks about the creation of urban children’s theme documentary,and summarizes the shortcomings of the film,which provides some reference and creative ideas for the creation of similar theme films in the future.
