Injecting New Hip-hop Culture

As a unique youth subculture phenomenon in contemporary society,hip-hop culture,"this is hip-hop IV",as the first international hip-hop competition variety show in China,has made the development of hip-hop culture in China from minority to out of circle to global,and hip-hop has obtained a new look of local transformation,commercial adaptation and positive development in China.The development of hip-hop groups shows the characteristics of virtuality,mobility and fragmentation different from the traditional subculture.In the collision and running-in with foreign dancers,domestic dancers have produced a hip-hop culture with Chinese characteristics.At the same time,a flowing hip-hop culture has been formed in the process of cross-cultural exchanges and cooperation,breaking the dichotomy that people stick to.Postmodernism gives subculture groups more freedom,so the group’s sense of identity has also moved towards a new scene.Based on this,this study takes the later subculture research theory as the basis and identity as the research framework to provide modern research and Reflection on the development of Chinese hip-hop culture and the evolution of group identity.By comparing the representation of self construction of domestic and foreign hip-hop dancers participating in this is hip-hop IV,and interviewing dancers with long-term dance experience,hip-hop program directors and hip-hop lovers,this paper studies and analyzes the four states of "seeking difference","seeking common ground","clustering" and "blending" of Chinese hip-hop dancers in the process of hip-hop localization,so as to realize the construction of individual,group and cultural identity,Feel the localization transformation and innovation of Chinese hip-hop dancers,show the real and complete image of Chinese hip-hop dancers,and provide reference for the sustainable development and research of Chinese hip-hop cultural groups in the future under the different performance of Chinese and Western hip-hop dancers.
