Since its birth in the last century,China’s Internet literature has been developing rapidly.The continuous progress of information technology has facilitated the advent of the all-media era and promoted the development of Internet literature.As an important branch of Internet literature,female-themed online novels have a number of unique publishing characteristics: high quality,rapid development,wide audience and many derivative products.The publication of female-themed online novels takes the creation of novels as the core and aggregates multiple media,forming an organic whole characterised by technological innovation,media concept innovation and media channel innovation,reflecting the characteristics of the era of all-media.This paper takes media ecology and publishing ecology as the theoretical basis to study the all-media publishing ecology of female-themed online novels.Firstly,this paper explains the concepts of publishing ecology,all-media publishing and all-media publishing ecology,and points out that the publishing ecology of female-themed online novels embodies the characteristics of all-media.Secondly,this paper points out that the ecology of female-themed online novels includes extra-media ecology and intra-media ecology,and elaborates on the publishing characteristics of female-themed online novels.The paper then takes Jinjiang Literature Website,a literary publishing platform for female-themed online novels,as an example,and examines the characteristics of the population of subjects within the ecology and the interaction process within the ecology.Its intra-ecological subjects include readers,authors,editors,etc.The analysis of the interactive activities of the ecological subjects focuses on the interaction between authors and readers,authors and editors,and editors and readers.This paper then takes Jinjiang Literature Website as an example to illustrate the internal and external communication process of its publishing ecology.Its internal communication illustrates the role of the reward mechanism,list mechanism and book review mechanism in constructing the internal communication,while the external communication emphasises the cross-media narrative to realise the establishment of an all-media communication matrix,extending and improving the ecological communication chain.Finally,the paper points out the publishing ecological dilemmas faced by female-themed online novels,namely imbalanced access to ecological factors,overlapping ecological niches and imperfect ecological communication chains.Strategic suggestions are made for the optimisation of the all-media publishing ecology in terms of value guidance,the layout of the publishing ecological niche,and the optimisation of publishing ecological dissemination.
