International students living in various dialect areas in China are deeply influenced by the local dialects in their communication style and Chinese learning.The Wuhan dialect is part of the Southwestern official dialect,which is spoken by a large number of people and has a wide influence.If international students do not know Wuhan dialect,it is easy to cause communication problems.Since vocabulary is the core of Chinese language,the study of Wuhan dialect vocabulary has certain reference significance for the teaching of Chinese dialect vocabulary,and it also has certain application value for international students in Wuhan to adapt to local life and overcome communication barriers.In this paper,we use Wuhan dialect vocabulary as the object of study,and select three vocabulary data as the source of "Wuhan dialect graded word list" according to the concept of "generality" calculation.Firstly,I identified the words in the syllabus that meet the "Wuhan dialect vocabulary definition criteria" as Wuhan dialect vocabulary,so as to establish the "Wuhan dialect vocabulary preliminary table".Secondly,I transcribed the classic Wuhan dialect program "Yummy" of Hubei Chutian Traffic Radio to form a self-built "Wuhan dialect corpus".The words that meet the "Wuhan dialect vocabulary definition criteria" are extracted and added to the "Wuhan dialect word list",and the frequency data of each dialect word in the corpus are calculated.After that,I created a questionnaire based on the "Wuhan dialect word list" and conducted a survey among Wuhan citizens to obtain the frequency scores of each dialect word,i.e.,the "Likert five-level scale score of dialect word frequency".Finally,the CRITIC weighting method was used to assign parameters to the above three data materials,and the weighting formula was developed to delineate the score intervals,so as to complete the grading process of the dialect word list and form the final "Wuhan dialect grading word list".From the perspective of practical application,this paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches to develop a "Wuhan dialect grading word list" for Chinese language teaching and international students in China,which is both scientific and practical based on statistical data and questionnaires.This paper also summarizes the differences between Wuhan dialect vocabulary and Putonghua on the basis of the list,which provides a reference for international students in Wuhan dialect context to a certain extent,and also has some practical significance for Chinese teachers’ dialect teaching and the development of dialect vocabulary teaching materials. |
