| Quantifiers are not found in the parts of speech in western grammar.In modern Chinese,quantifiers are often used to express the concept of quantity,while many indo-european languages do not have quantifiers.Chinese quantifiers are generally called unit nouns in Korean,and there are many unit words in Korean.Different from indo-european languages,Chinese and Korean belong to languages with developed classifiers.Quantifiers are widely used in daily life and their number is very large.The quantifier system of Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade Outlineconsists of nominal quantifiers and momentum words,with a total of142 quantifiers.The Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade Outlineincluding 129 nominal quantifiers,Nominal quantifiers can be divided into 56 individual quantifiers,25 set quantifiers,6 part-time quantifiers,27 weights and measures quantifiers,6 quasi-quantifiers and 9 temporary quantifiers.There are only 63 Korean unit nouns corresponding to 129 nominal quantifiers,including 13 momentum words,which are further divided into 9 special-purpose momentum words and 4 borrowed momentum words.Through Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade Outlineto study the comparison between Chinese and Korean quantifiers and momentum words.On the one hand,it can provide help for Chinese and Korean students and scholars to learn the quantitative expression in each other’s language,on the other hand,it can also be used for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and Korean as a foreign language. |
