| This study carried out metacognitive Chinese initial consonants teaching training for Lao students with elementary Chinese proficiency from the perspectives of improving students’ metacognitive awareness,learning to plan and arrange Chinese learning tasks,monitoring their own Chinese learning behavior,evaluating Chinese learning effects,and proposed a model for guiding Chinese initials consonants teaching with metacognitive strategies.The research shows:1.In the Chinese initial consonants teaching,strengthening the training of metacognitive strategies is an important and effective way to help Lao students improve the correct rate of Chinese initial consonants pronunciation.The Chinese initial consonants pronunciation can be improved through training,and Lao students who received training in metacognitive Chinese initial consonants teaching made greater progress in initial consonants pronunciation than those who did not.2.Metacognitive strategy training can help Lao students to further improve their metacognitive awareness.Chinese teachers should encourage Lao students to recognize and apply metacognitive learning strategies to plan,monitor and evaluate their own Chinese initial consonants learning tasks and Chinese learning tasks of other subjects in the process of initials teaching,and actively use metacognitive strategies to improve their metacognitive ability.and level.3.Through the metacognitive Chinese initial consonants teaching training,Lao students have greatly improved their ability to use metacognitive strategies in general,especially in the application of planning and monitoring strategies.Lao students have more goals and motivation to complete Chinese initial consonants learning tasks,improve the correct rate of Chinese initial consonants pronunciation,and learn Chinese more actively.Based on the above teaching practice results,this paper clearly proposes to some proposals,such as cultivating Chinese learners’ metacognitive awareness to improve Chinese learning efficiency,helping students to formulate Chinese learning target plans,guiding students to monitor and control the whole process of their own Chinese learning,and comprehensively evaluating their own Chinese learning effects.It is hoped that in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,students can improve their ability to learn Chinese independently,which will further promote the dissemination and promotion of international Chinese education. |
