Research On Symbolic Meaning In The Painting Of German Neo-Expressionist Painter Keefer

Anselm Kiefer is one of the most outstanding contemporary neo-expressionist artists in Germany.His works have the characteristics of postmodernity,and his symbolic language has obvious artistic characteristics.Symbols are the most direct artistic expression in Kiefer’s works.Its meaning is also the expression method that best reflects the artistic thinking and spiritual demands of neo-expressionist painters.At present,there is still a lack of in-depth research on the origin of its meaning,language analysis,and its expression in modern creation.This article takes Kiefer’s research on the meaning of symbols as the title,discusses the process of his artistic development,and analyzes the meaning and language characteristics of different symbols in the subject through the historical and ideological background.From the perspective of the influence of the German post-war era background and cultural background on Kiefer,the article analyzes the source and meaning of the symbolic language in his artistic creation.First,analyze the formation factors and source of intentions of his artistic style from the perspective of ruin literature,Beuys and others’ guidance to Kiefer,and the mutuality of the spiritual realm among neo-expressionist painters;The language of meaning in its symbolic language;finally,combined with Kiefer’s artistic creation techniques,materials with different characteristics are displayed on the screen to complete the creation of comprehensive materials.Kiefer’s artistic symbolic language contains the history,memory and identity of Germany.He tries to break the solid-state thinking of traditional art with his own creative methods,and conveys the ideal utopia and the Germans’ reflection on history through his artistic creation.Kiefer’s artistic expression and artistic value will surely become the new representative of cultural value in Neo-Expressionism,and provide unique inspiration.Figure 25;Table 7;Reference 50...
