As the foundation of people’s livelihood development,medicines play an important role in the treatment and management of diseases.With the sustainable development of Global Care,the scale of the drug market is gradually expanding.As an important carrier for protecting drugs and transmitting information,drug packaging plays the role of "communicating" with a wide variety of user groups.Considering the differences in age,gender and physical conditions of the users,realizing the universality of drug packaging has become an important topic in the current era,and the senses,as an important medium for people to communicate with the outside world,are the core basis of drug experience.However,at present,most pharmaceutical packaging is mainly designed based on the visual level,and there is little integration application of multisensory elements.Therefore,from the perspective of multi-sensory,useroriented,systematic and planned design improvements can be carried out around the current situation of packaging use and user needs,so as to realize the versatility of drug packaging.In this regard,from the perspective of multi-sensory,this study takes drug packaging as the research object,adopts literature analysis method,research investigation method and case analysis method.On this basis,the connection between multi-sensory and packaging versatility is discussed,which lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Then summarize and sort out the use status and demand analysis of drug packaging user groups,summarize the characteristics and use needs of different types of users,and conduct targeted research from a multi-sensory perspective.According to the stages of the medication process,analyze the sensory elements that affect the medication experience,and summarize the direction of design optimization from the perspective of vision,hearing,touch,smell,and taste.Visually,the primary goal is to transmit drug information,thinking from the four aspects of text,graphics,color,and illustrations,focusing on the efficient transmission of visual information;tactilely,focusing on the guiding role of tactile signs that can effectively improve the drug experience,and optimizing the structure of drug packaging auditory enhancement of tamper-proof interactive feedback,and application of intelligent voice technology to improve medication compliance;olfactory exploration of indirect and direct intervention methods to improve the sensory experience of drug packaging;taste using synesthesia effect,from vision and taste From the perspective of linkage,improve the participation of users in medication.Finally,the specific direction of realizing the universality of drug packaging was clarified,and the strategic points of multi-sensory cut-in of drug packaging were proposed from the five senses influencing factors,user research results,and actual drug use situations.The main results of this study are as follows: first,the influence of multi-sensory interaction on drug packaging interaction is systematically sorted out,and the design elements of the five senses are clarified;second,the characteristics and medication problems of different user groups are summarized based on the analysis of user needs;third,to build a multisensory model of drug packaging versatility,combined with the comparison of actual cases,put forward a multi-sensory design strategy for drug packaging versatility.
